The Exceptional Foundation

Welcome to The Exceptional Foundation, where caring people help lives on a daily basis. We are located minutes from downtown Birmingham, Alabama in Homewood. The Exceptional Foundation is a non-profit organization which began sixteen years ago with five mentally challenged individuals with a year-round calendar of programs.

Today, our goals are still the same, but we touch many, many more lives daily. At The Exceptional Foundation we welcome support in the form of volunteers to spend time with our program participants, support through donations, and other forms of help. Please contact us if you have any questions at all, whether it’s about volunteering, giving, or signing up to participate!
